ETHICAL AND SOCIAL CHARTER

Environmental ethic :

Photos and reproductions selected for the collection "Arbor'Ethic", are from Jérome Hutin & later, friend and artists photographers, painters, draftsmen, will be printed with an environmental, artistic and societal ethics.

The supports of printing will be : 

• Photo paper (editions realized in photographic laboratory).
• Recycled paper not cleared in the chlorine.
• Papers 100 % bio cotton, hemp, linen.
• Papers 90 % of fibers of bamboo.
• Papers with the standard FSC ( Forest Steward Council).
• Printing large size on canvas, mesh flags, covers, Dibond*, etc....

The inks will make reference to sharp environmental standards and the printers will possess the logo "Imprim'Vert". 

Plantations of trees will be realized with schools, secondary schools, municipalities and their services of lanscapes.

We shall invite the nursery gardeners and treesurgers to involve strongly in these plantations by educational concern and of awareness to the environment.

An association (NGO) with the name of "Arbres Vénérables" can be moreover created and relieve for these plantations, even also to offer trees to the buyers of posters, cards(maps), books...

Collection of clothes : Jérome Hutin wishes to create a collection of clothes in hemp, cotton bio and/or linen. These clothes will be pants, shirts, T-shirt, reporters' jackets, hats, caps : the perfect explorer. 

The elaboration of ecological hiking shoes would be studied in partnership with a specialist of the shoe. Specialists are most welcome to contact Jérôme.

Sales will be done through the site http://www.arborethic.com, as well as in alternative stores.

 Societal ethics** : copyright will be paid to the photographers and the other artists to help them in their art.

Rather, printers of the European Community, will be chosen first, in a concern of ecological and social respect.

We shall be aware to the most right tariff offers of the printers and the laboratories asserting good products.

*Pannels Dibond^TM  : Dibond is a solid and light material, consisted of a nucleus of polyethylene taken in sandwich by two patches of aluminium.

This material, rotproof and stainless, works easily (drilling, sawing, etc... ). 

 **Societal : For partisans of the sustainable development, the societal responsibility is a concept which indicates the responsibility of an economic agent in regard to the social and environmental consequences of his activities on his stakeholders. For a company, we so speak about "corporate social responsability". 

The corporate social responsability is taken into account in the approaches of political ecology.
